The HAT People: A History Of Support??

Our country has had a sad history of supporting our troops. This 4th of July is but a reminder of that checkered past. During the Revolution, the Continental Army received scant assistance from the citizens of the colonies. Though they eventually benefited from the sacrifice of the troops, they were hesitant to commit more than necessary to the cause. Today, our men and women in uniform fight against those who would destroy the country built on the blood of the Continental soldiers. Many in this country believe evil can be diplomatically convinced to leave us alone. All the time, evil continues to announce its intent to kill us, dead. God bless those who hold in the gap, who man the walls and stand the watch. Without them, we would be at the mercy of evil and those who would placate it.
