The HAT People: The Queen Has No Clothes

Who, out there, remembers the fairytale about the tailors who made for an emperor clothes they claimed only the most intelligent could see? Proudly, the emperor paraded before his people wearing these magical clothes. Of course, no one wanted to be labeled ignorant so, they praised the ruler for his splendid clothing. The ruse held up until a child, with the honesty reserved for children, shouted, “The emperor has no clothes!” Suddenly, all could now see the naked sovereign.

Enter Hillary Clinton. Called the smartest woman in the world, she admits to being deceived by two men, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. She failed at her only attempt at major legislation. Remember the healthcare debacle of the Clinton administration? Who was charged with leading that effort? In her six years in the Senate she has not one bill of consequence either accredited to her or for which she sponsored.

Since declaring her candidacy for president, on the Internet, on a weekend, without any opportunity for the press to ask questions, she has begun to cross the U.S. making all kinds of promises about what she would do as president. And yet, where is the track record to back up her claims? What evidence do voters have that she can deliver on even one pledge?

THE QUEEN HAS NO CLOTHES!
