To Whom Will Harry Reid Surrender?

Harry Run And Hide Reid wants to surrender

Rush Limbaugh, I think, makes the best point I have heard or read anywhere. The Democrats are totally invested in losing the war. At this point, nothing but a complete failure in Iraq and they will suffer tremendously the next election cycle. Their fate lies with America’s perspective of them.

Americans are a fickle bunch. We have the attention span of a child. Today, we might be concerned about the war. Tomorrow, who knows? One thing is certain; it will be a petty, self-centered concern. Most Americans do not vote, do not know the names of their leaders and could not find Iraq on a map. In truth, those that do vote, usually vote with their wallets in mind. So, when the Democrats with the aid of the MSM start screaming that the war is lost, America is ready to believe them. After all, few even bother to watch the evening news and, if they did, they would not be any more informed. American’s primary focus is how to get the next thing we want. Like I said, attention span of a child.

Here is a great example. A man trips on the job while moving a heavy object. At best, he might have twisted his ankle but, otherwise, had no real injury. Yet, he acquired a lawyer to sue his employer. What does he want to accomplish with a lawsuit? He hopes to get a new fishing pole and maybe a chainsaw. True story, no frills added.

Bin Laden is said to have attacked America because he believed we were a paper tiger. He figured one major strike would cause us to run away and hide while begging for peace. As a side note, can you imagine his reaction when the US military showed up in Afghanistan?

Coming full circle, Harry Reid declares the war already lost. Americans, with no world perspective, seem to agree. The world waits to see if we truly are a paper tiger. What will be our response? God help us, our fate lies in the hands of a population more concerned with getting a new fishing pole.
